ABOUT Re-boun(d)ce 

"… some keep on re-bouncing from one limb to the other, taking its time to continue to the after life, where it re-bounces off to another body and enters it to fuck it up. Somewhere there must be a body that takes that bounce, destroys it and hacks it down to little pieces. Picking up the good pieces, leaving the bad ones to rot and die. The opportunity to bounce back is lost. It has reached stillness, a state where gravity has shut down the ability to bounce back. The opportunity for a second chance in a make-believe after life in some parallel universe is not available, where as, it is not welcome."

Re-bound(c)e er samstarfsverkefni Selmu Reynisdóttir, Sunnu Axels //SAKANA// og Birkis Sveinbjörssonar. Re-boun(d)ce er niðurstaða fjögurra vikna rannsóknarferils á fyrirbærinu ,,bounce,” í námskeiðinu “einstaklings verkefni dansara”. Verkefnið var hluti af námskeiði þriðja árs dansnema við Listaháskóla Íslands, þar sem markmiðið er að vinna að verkefni sem varpar ljósi á listræna sýn nemandans. Leiðbeinendur áfangans eru Sveinbjörg Þórhallsdóttir og Ásgerður Gunnarsdóttir. Fyrri sýningin var í sýnd í Tunlingu en sú seinni á Húrra.
